Perfect Feet

Summer is nearly here and no one want dry feet on a beautiful day, so here's a way to get the perfect feet for summer...

Shaping:
Remove old nail polish, then trim your toenails square across with clipper and gently file to a round soft shape using a fine file.
Soften them:
Take one foot and buff away any hard or rough areas using a double sided foot file, starting with the rough side before going onto the smooth side. Massage a little foot scrub into the skin to exfoliate, rinse and pat dry.
Apply a foot mask or a cream and wrap your foot in cling film for an hour to help penetrate. Repeat with your other foot, then clean away the mask and massage some lotion into your feet, mainly on the heels and the ball of your feet.

Prep them:
carefully push the cuticles back. then place toe separators into between your toes on both feet (rolled up cotton wool will work just as well) Remove any leftover cream from your nails and apply a layer or base coat.

Paint them:
Apply two thin coats of nail polish carefully, leaving a few minutes between each before finishing off with a top coat. When painting, start in the cenre of the nail and work out onto the edges as the polish may spread out slightly.A cotton bud dipped in nail-polish remover will rub away any mistakes, Nails should be touch-dry in 20 minutes. If your in a rush dry your toe nails with a hair dryer on the coolest setting.

Tips:
- For baby soft feet, smooth an extra-thick layer of lotion over your feet before going to sleep and put on some cotton socks and leave them overnight. In the morning take them off and your will have soft feet.

- If you dont own a foot spa, just fill a plastic bowl with and inch of water (enough to cover your feet) and add a few drops of foot soak into it. This will soften and hydrate feet as well as relaxing you.

- Smooth foot cream all over your foot then, with the tip of your fingers, slowly circle around the ankle bone about six times. Using your thumb, knead the sole of each foot with firm, circular movements.(make your  hand into a foot and use your knuckles if you want more pressure) Gently pull each toe giving it a stretch and lightly stroke over the tops of your feet to finish, then repeat on the over foot.
